毎年イギリスで開催される音楽の祭典式『The BRIT Awards 2022（ブリット・アワード 2022）』の授賞式が現地時間2月8日にイギリス・ロンドンにて開催されそれぞれの受賞者が発表された。

  BCC によると、2022年度の授賞式は新型コロナの影響を踏まえ海外アーティストの出演は控え、イギリス人アーティストAdele（アデル）、Dave（デイブ）、Ed Sheeran（エド・シーラン）、Little Simz（リトル・シムズ）、Sam Fender（サム・フェンダー）らが授賞式にパフォーマンスを行った。

全13カテゴリーの内、3カテゴリーを受賞したのは、2021年10月に6年ぶりの新曲 "Easy On Me" を発表し、11月にアルバム『30』をリリースした Adele 。Adele は「Album of the year」「Song of the year」「Artist of the year」のカテゴリーで受賞している。

▼ Ed Sheeran – Bad Habits (feat. Bring Me The Horizon) [Live at the BRIT Awards 2022] 「Dance」部門では、Calvin Harris（カルビン・ハリス）がノミネートされいたが、Oliver Heldens（オリバー・ヘルデンス）、Meduza（メデューサ）、Tiësto（ティエスト）、David Guetta（デイヴィッド・ゲッタ）らとのコラボでも知られる Becky Hill（ベッキー・ヒル）が受賞。
