DJ Yasu ( Vibes Records/Owner )
In 1995, At age 17 Yasu started Djaying. In the same year there was a DJ battle at Club Chitta Kawasaki Japan and he won the 4th place in the battle. Soon after that he started a regular event “VIBES” at Club Core Tokyo and started his own label 「VIBESRECORDS」at same time started a mixtape series”Expresss Yourself?”and”The Pharcyde Megamix” and released both. He aired his own mixes on Japanese “Usen”channel and produced a limited edition products for DiskUnion, Worked for a few apparel brand for their limited edition items as well. He worked with and opend up for ) C.L.Smooth, Adriana Evans, Steph Pockets, Slum Village, Crazy legs and Delaware’s underground group ”The49ers” as their Japan tour backup DJ. Yasu mixed their album “Musaic” Yasu supported NUTSO a.k.a Nut-Rageous Japan Tour as a backup DJ and released an official mixtape “NUTSO MEGA MIX” Since 2008 Yasu started his own, VIBESRECORDS DJ school and started teaching and also started producing songs including,LANG-SD, Matzz of Tres-men collaborations and awarded in a few beat battles and contests.
