DJ Trey got his start back in the late 90s New York club scene, DJying everything from rooftop parties in the Lower East Side to cutting-edge East Village, SoHo and Lower East Side music spots, such as Liquids, Satellite and Void. He played a few opening sets at some larger venues as well, such as Womb (home to the legendary Sasha & Digweed residency) and in the 2000s, Marquis and Pink Elephant in the Meat Packing District. DJ Trey revived his DJing life in Tokyo in 2008, beginning a semi-residency at Desert Rose in Ginza (Sabakunobara).
