Coyote – alias Gábor Pörneczi – started his DJ career at the age of 18, in 1998. Hoping to break out of the bedroom DJ category, together with a friend they began organizing parties.
Indicating the success of their events and their own popularity, there was always a regular crowd of 3 – 400 gathering at their parties, which were sometimes held at exclusive locations.
Thanks to these gigs and to his live/promo mixes available on the internet, Coyote’s name became recognized, with promoters continuously inviting him to perform at the best clubs of the western Hungarian region.
The next push to his career came around 2000, from Radio Jam’s electronic dance program, called Fresh Jam.
His first Budapest gigs came about the turn of the millennium as well. Coyote first flashed his electro- and minimal self to the capital az the legendary ZTM parties with more hundreds of guests. With these performances he found his way to the hearts of the journalists and the eye of the profession focused more and more on his work.
