Beginning his musical career in Atlanta in 1997, Dale-x played guitar for the now defunct rock band Prone which had some connections to the seminole Atlanta band the .45s and now drummer for Armazilla . In 2000 he moved to Japan and began delving in electronic music, and wandered upon the psychadelic trance scene. In vibration and theory the rave party being the analog to the acid parties of old, being a longtime psychedelic music fan, but having missed a generation of the psychadelic 60s in London, Pink Floyd's warehouse parties, etc this instantly forged a connection to past present and future. The dude, as he is sometimes known, has performed at various trance festivals including the legendary Anoyo festivals in Niijima and Sado Island, alongside such artists as Tsuyoshi, System 7, Saiko Pod and at various parties in and around Tokyo, including performances with dance unit A-Boys (akiba-boys) with Toshiyuki Anzai and Tsuru Ohnishi at Natural Smile, Tenrinsai, and the secret Cave party in Izu.
