Jonny grew up clubbing from an early age to house music and bought his first set of turntables at the age of 13. Since then he has climbed up the UK dj circuit and can now be seen playing alongside many respected artists around the nation especially at Flux in Leeds where he currently holds a residency. There is no doubt that 16 years of playing the drums has largely influenced Jonny’s productions with his unique dexterity for rhythm, coupled with his collaborations with well respected producer Huxley he continues to catch the ears of industry heavy weights with his laid back grooves and ultra original sounds.
With regular support from 2020:Vision head honcho Ralph Lawson and Leftroom’s Matt Tolfery he is certainly one to watch for the coming year. Aside from his productions Jonny Cade has formed a record label called ‘Catch’ with good friends Brett Osbourne and Rob Chadwick which will see its first release in January 2013. Mostly orientated around techno vibes Catch indulges itself into new techno sounds thats have previously been unheard.
