The Organ Grinder has been hiding in the musical shadows for some time, all the way back to 1995.
With jungle music at its peak and the airwaves alive with pirate radio stations The Organ Grinder aka Cayne Ramos started his musical education, and that’s what you’ll hear in his music production and DJ sets; a deep understanding of musical heritage and more importantly an understanding of what people want to hear on the dance floor. Anyone who fell for the sound of garage music between 1999 and 2005 may have already enjoyed a night out with Cayne as he took to the stage as MC Chico hosting for distinguished acts such as Tuff Jam, Mike Ruff Cut Lloyd, EZ and Dream Team.
It was in 2006 Cayne that put down the mic and turned his hand to DJing hosting a regular UK funky night pushing the emerging sounds from that scene in The South West. Fast forward to 2010 and Cayne has his first celebrated release ‘Something New’ on Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen imprint as one half of production duo Didz and Chico.
