Around 1996 the austrian Oliver Kargl aka RNDM started djing in a small club in the western part of Austria called Stone Club. Having a reputation in electronic music for more than 20 years the sound of Stone Club was mainly Detroit and Chicago techno.
Coming from an indie and punk background he found his way into house and techno through the sound of Detroit and Chicago.
After his move to vienna in the late 90 s he was highly influenced by the sound of the city at that time. Labels like Cheap, Grow, Central and the rather weird and experimental sounds of Mego led him to a more abstract approach and later to minimal techno.
During this time he first studied with austrian sound artist Bernhard Leitner for three years to intensify his interest in sound art minimal music and later with contemporary sculptor Erwin Wurm.
2004 he started working together with Phillip Sollmann aka Efdemin. They stuck together into endless live recording sessions in the studio while always pushing the borders of their analog foccused live set which represents an contemporary approach to classical house and techno.
