Billy Morris first started DJ'ing while at school and began to organise small local parties for friends. He continued until 1996 when he was spotted by the promoters of GLAM, one of the biggest dance names in Scotland, and became one of their residents.
From here he proceeded to make a name for himself as a crowd pleaser, playing uplifting, euphoric and pumping trance. As a resident he helped shape the sounds with which Glam became synonymous. He has a genuine nature and love for the music which shines through when you meet him. One of his best qualities is his ability to read the crowd, rather than turning up with a pre-defined set, like many other DJ's.
He picked up the name "billypleased" by accident after a gig with Jon Pleased Wimmin. As he took to the decks at an after show party, someone shouted "We want Jon Pleased Wimmin", to which he replied tongue in cheek "F**k Jon Pleased Wimmin, I'm Billy pleased himself", and the name stuck. "At first it was a laugh but eventually the promoters knew I hated it and put it on the posters to wind me up."
