Tweli “Tweli G” Kaigwa is a Kenyan performing artist based in Japan. An Afro-electro hip hop artist and producer, he writes, composes, records and performs his unique style of music in Japanese, English and Swahili. Under his own label Hive Studios, Tweli G has carved a niche for himself in the underground hip-hop scene in Japan rising in prominence thanks to his performances and winning audience across country for his stage presence, delivery, strong message in his lyrics and his ear as a producer.
Tweli G’s self-titled debut indie album Tweli G launched in October 2011 available in itunes. His first single from his upcpoming project Good Day is available on soundcloud and has been already featured on Rapzilla.com. Tweli G's was also nominated Top 10 for his Remix of Lecrae's 'I Know'.A gifted videographer as well, Tweli G has been directing music videos across Japan for over 2 years.
