Jaken a.k.a Corn Bread: one of the REALEST Reggae Dancers in Japan.
He began his career for spreading authentic Jamaican dancehall culture and vibes. As realistic reggae dancer, he has been traveling and dancing in Jamaica since his career started.
In 2011, Corn Bread became the youngest winner of “DANCEHALL KING JAPAN” and in 2013 he won Jamaica’s TV competition program “DANCIN’ DYNAMITE 2013 CLASH.” In addition, he has performed in a wide array of competitions, music videos and TV programs in Jamaica.
In 2014, Corn Bread released the song “WAY UP DEH” featuring with renowned Jamaican dancehall artist “VOICE MAIL.” In that same year, he performed in Miami (United States), Manila (Philippines), Seoul (Korea), as an internationaldDancer.
From 2016, Corn Bread was featured in a new global campaign for Smirnoff, focused on dancehall music and his cross-cultural life in Jamaica and Tokyo.
His 3rd Documentary DVD “JA to JA vol3” will be released in October 2016.
Corn Bread plans to carry on as a REAL reggae dancer, spreading authentic Jamaican dancehall culture and vibes across the world.
