Slovak folk rock duo Kinsfolk started in 2014 as a side project of two cousins Dominik Demcak and Peter Cinkanic. But as soon as the two started composing and rehearsing new songs, they felt something special. Fueled by mutual chemistry, it became clear right away that Kinsfolk will be something consuming all of the energy of the duo. Their sound might be described as folkish rock, tinted with a modern-pop zest.
Both Cinkanic and Demcak are inspired by such Gods as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen. When asking on nowaday influences the band names Conor Oberst, The Decemberists, Angus and Julia Stone, The Killers and Kings of Leon.
Kinsfolk released a brand new music video for their first single called Adelaide in October 2014. One of the biggest and most popular radios in Slovakia called them "music discovery of the week"....
