Reimer Eising (1982), inhabitant of the city of Groningen in the Netherlands and a trained classical pianist, has been a busy man since his first record on the Planet Mu label in 2003. Along his path there were several ep’s and albums on his own Sending Orbs label and new work on the Rotterdam based Clone label. His latest LP ”Wingtip” is a delicate, melodic, playful album fuzzing elements of electronica, classical music, jazz and techno stirred into flawless, memorable compositions.
As a 90's kid Kettel has always been inspired by the early electronica pioneers and on this album you can hear some of the aesthetics of those late 90's productions, but adopted into Kettel's unique world of confident rhythms and melodies filled with expression. In september 2017 a new EP on the Analogical Force label sees daylight. It’s built with the familiar Kettel blocks but flirting with the dancefloor more than ever.
