Brookes's main fighting ground was the English Fight Club Pro. In June 2019, he joined DDT's Kyoto tournament. He formed Calamari Drunken Kings with Takanashi and participated in the tag matches. He has built a name as a solo fighter as he challenged the KO-D open weigh division at the Korakuen tournament in June and tied first in the A-block at the D King GP 2020. At the Korakuen tournament in January 2020 he revealed his move to Japan, and will continue to be active in the wrestling world.
