Higuchi is a large wrestler who was a sumo wrestler at Hakkaku Beya until December 2013. His sumo name at the time was Hokudozan. After transitioning to pro-wrestling he lead DNA as the top member, but left after the Korakuen tournament on 4 July, and moved to DDT.
