May'n made her major debut as a singer in 2005 at the young age of 15. Her works span multiple genres of music, including pop, rock, dance, and R&B, putting on full display her skills as a talented singer. Her music has been featured as the theme songs for many anime, dramas, movies, and video games, and has reached the top of the music charts in Japan on multiple occasions. She has performed solo concerts at venues like Nippon Budokan and Yokohama Arena five times, in addition to conducting domestic and international world tours, visiting such locales as San Francisco, Los Angeles, France, Germany, Korea, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, with over 90 career live concert performances and closing act performances across seven countries to her name.
In 2018, May'n held her first Chinese concert tour entitled "Yīnyuè Bāozi" visiting five different cities, and in 2019 became the first Japanese performer to be honored at the ASIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019 in Shenzhen.
