Started his DJ career in 2010, performing as a resident DJ at some of the largest clubs in Tokyo.

In 2018, he began producing music, and within just two years, he was already providing tracks for major gaming companies, top YouTubers, and renowned artists both in Japan and abroad, rapidly gaining recognition within the industry.

Focusing on his artist career, he has released numerous tracks through globally recognized labels. His second release, *Take Me Now*, was featured on *One World Radio*, the official radio show of *Tomorrowland*, one of the world's largest music festivals, drawing global attention.

In 2022, he made history as the first Japanese solo artist to release a track under *Crash & Smile*, the label founded by DADA LIFE and a sublabel of Hardwell’s *Revealed Recordings*. This achievement marked a significant milestone in Japan’s dance music scene.

In 2024, KSHMR, ranked #15 in DJ MAG's world rankings, played Kohey’s original track *Welcome To The Jungle* on the main stage of *Ultra Music Festival* and at other major global festivals, performing in front of an audience of nearly 500,000 people.
