MonoGoi is a term from the artist’s local dialect that casually expresses feelings such as “tired” or “worn out.” Drawing from a foundation in electronica, ambient, hip-hop, dub, and experimental music, MonoGoi develops a wide range of activities that transcend genres and formats, spanning both music and art. In 2019, he released his debut album Lost Jungle. In 2021, he held a pop-up at BEAMS BE AT, and in 2022, he presented the collage exhibition Material at Mustard Hotel, further expanding his practice into the field of visual art. In 2023 and 2024, he provided music for projects such as Puma Skateboarding and the SHIBUYA109 45th Anniversary movie, extending his sound approach into the commercial scene as well.
