An exotic funk trio featuring clarinet, bass, and drums.
In 2018, they released the art book ‘La Palma’ (Okura Publishing), created with illustrator Jun Otani. The collection of songs depicting adventures on a fictional southern island gained attention in Europe, with two French radio stations simultaneously featuring them.
Since 2021, they have continued releasing works through Electric Cowbell Records in Washington, D.C., USA. Their music has been aired on radio stations not only in the US but also across Europe and America, including France, Germany, Italy, and Croatia. Their 2023 album ‘Buster Goes West’ (Electric Cowbell Records) ranked in multiple overseas media's year-end best lists, and Bandcamp featured an interview and special article about them. Additionally, his music has been used by multiple Western companies, including Apple and Gimlet.
Domestically, he has contributed extensively to visual works, providing music for films by directors Tsuyoshi Tokai and Masataka Tominaga, composing for apparel brands, and handling music for TV dramas such as “Her Secret World” and “I'm Selling My Hand.”
