Shortly after he started spinning records in his home town of Copenhagen Peter Pixzel moved to East London where the developing dirty electro scene suited the electro/techno/minimal beats that he is now renowned for. 2007 has undoubtedly been an exciting year for Peter Pixzel.
As resident DJ of weekly club night Wet Yourself, Mix Mag proclaims that his ‘well crafted four-hour techno/minimal set’ sets the temperature for the night. In just six months, Wet Yourself seems to have ‘assembled a colourful clientele and a strong word of mouth buzz, from Shoreditch to at least the west coast of Germany.’ In addition to his weekly residency Peter Pixzel has been playing at Bugged Out!, TDK Festival, Trailer Trash, Ministry Of Sound, 1234 Festival, The Key, Drama, Canvas, Egg and a number of popular East London clubs.
Internationally, the past year has seen Peter Pixzel play gigs in Berlin, Milan, Copenhagen and Ljubljana with more still to come.
