‐ Gordon and Erick (collectively Botnek) met at a party in a small Canadian town, a town so small you’ve definitely never heard of it.
‐ They were the only humans in this small town who knew how to make mp3s from scratch.
‐ Their love for mp3s blossomed into a serious partnership after their first mp3, a Felix Cartel remix, won a contest on Dim Mak Records in 2009.‐ Botnek released their first EP “Plonk” on Discobelle Records in May of 2011.
‐ Botnek’s second EP “Sriracha & Beer” was released Nov 20, 2012 on Dim Mak Records.
‐ In 2013 Botnek released their follow up singles “Through the Night” & “I Know” on Dim Mak Records

Chainsmokers — praise Botnek for finally telling that selfie chick to “shut the fuck up”.
