This Japanese duo "The KAH” was formed in 2012 and is based in Tokyo.
KOHJIRO has composed music for Anna Tsuchiya (A Japanese pop star) and Aira Mitsuki and produces music for television commercials,
while HAIOKA develops electronica projects well regarded by domestic and international DJs and artists,
and has had releases with the Berlin label Emerald & Doreen and has performed live in southeast Asia and Europe.
The KAH was originally active as members of a band called “Bremen",
which has worked with production companies such as Artimage and KSR.
In January 2013, they decided to continually put out one all-new tune each month as The Kah.
A total of 13 songs were released over 12 months on iTunes only, including a remix.
Dance music is approached from a variety of angles, from drum & bass to EDM, techno, disco dub, psy-trance, and chill-out.
It perfectly crosses over between traditional roots and new trends,
earning fans of not only young people but also discerning listeners and international visitors.
