DJ IIJIMA (contrast/murder house)
Made his DJ debut at Shibuya CLUB Maruyama in 1993. Launched the CROSSOVER PARTY “MURDER HOUSE” in 1996, centered around GABBA and HARDCORE. Known as the party that energized weekends at Ebisu MILK back then, featuring various bands and DJs across genres every month.
As a DJ, he also participated as a resident at events like HARDCORE MAJORLEAGUE and the drum ‘n’ bass party “RUSH”.
He is currently active as a resident at Shibuya ORGANBAR's “RETURN99” and ZUBAR's “CLEAN”.
At age 16, he joined the production staff for TOKYO-FM's “WEEKLY ALTERNATIVE CHART” program, starting his DJ career around the same time. He organized “MURDER HOUSE” at the now-defunct Ebisu MILK for four years. While focusing on GABBA/HARDCORE, he explored various sounds. As a DJ, he has played at numerous BIG PARTIES! He has also performed alongside artists like DJ SHINKAWA, MOODMAN, COLDFEET, CHRISTIAN VOGEL, DJ 19, and SCOTT BROWN. In recent years, he has been actively involved in local scenes, playing at numerous rave parties. His current sound centers around tribal techno, while also incorporating the French new rave sound “TRIBE”.
