Sony Pictures, an American entertainment company that keeps on bringing us hot new films like T2 Trainspotting, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ghostbusters, is teaming up with the event company Linkbal to create a new type of experience-based music festival, "CineFes -CINEMA MUSIC FESTIVAL-"!
CineFes is a "music festival" for movie lovers that combines the out-of-the-ordinary feel of movies with the groove of music into one coherent whole. As part of a special pre-release event for "T2 Trainspotting" before DVDs go on sale on 9/6 (Wed), this event invites guests to experience a new way of seeing the world together with music.
These 3 wild hours of CINEMA MUSIC will feature three major artists. First is Shinichi Osawa, the artist who started out as MONDO GROSSO and who continues to release groundbreaking music as SHINICHI OSAWA as well as produce and remix the works of multiple artists both inside and outside of Japan. Second is DJ Dainoji (Nobuhiko Oya), a DJ famed for transforming the dance floor into a crazy sea of smiles and passion at such famous Japanese music festivals as ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, COUNTDOWN JAPAN and SUMMER SONIC. The third is TJO (TAKERU JOHN OTOGURO), a club resident based in Tokyo and active all around Japan who not only performs at large festivals around the world, but who is also a popular radio personality on channels such as block.fm.
