Absolutely addictive! Psychedelic, dubby, and tropical mutant bass sounds that has captured the attention of the world! Dengue Dengue Dengue are coming to VENT!


This dubious duo donning mysterious masks hailing from Peru blend traditional music with modern electronic sounds for a tropical bass style that has taken the world by storm, addicting all those who listen! VENT is proud to host their long-awaited Japan performance, set for February 28th!


Dengue Dengue Dengue are a producer, DJ, and graphic designer duo Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira from Lima, Peru. They have been pursuing traditional Peruvian rhythms along with global electronic music; melding the new with the old, digital with analog, constructing and mixing a unique tropical bass sound. Their sound incorporates a medley of styles from psychedelic cumbia to dub, salsa to footwork, and tribal.


This time around, it will be a solo effort by Rafael Pereira, but the performance will showcase their audio-visual acumen that has been getting lots of attention the world over. They first came to Japan in 2014 for an event hosted by Red Bull Academy, and since then their work has been gaining traction at record shops all over. We welcome you to come experience a completely new dimension of South American electronic music on the dance floors of VENT!
