Compass, orchestrated by the Tokyo-based label/creative group Hole and Holland, Womb's resident party Complexstore, and handpan player and producer Reo Matsumoto of Forest Beat Studio, will be held at Womb on February 10th. Balam, headlining the event, is known for his unique Latin American sound and has released music on labels like Multi Culti, Pets Records, and Get Physical.

The event also features DJ Kuri, who heads the dope party Black Forest and plays hypnotic, deep vinyl sounds, DJ Shibata who organizes the exploratory dance music party Tanshinon, and DJ/Producer Sunga, known for his dynamic groove control. Gem Willow, who released his debut EP last year on Playground Records and successfully toured Europe, and Taihei, a DJ/Producer from Nagoya's underground scene known for his deep house, jazz, soul, and hip-hop, will also perform.

Representing Hole and Holland will be Mamazu, head of the label Sabi, Yo.An, Fushiming, Haruka Katagata, and Courtney Bailey, who has made a notable impact since her debut EP release last year, including playing at Bali's Klymax Discotheque.... Learn More
