Live 12 has just been released, and April's meetup will focus on bass sound creation, which can be considered an eternal challenge!
Three presenters will appear on the stage this time.
RISA TANIGUCHI, making her first appearance at AMT, is a techno DJ/producer who has released on major European techno labels and tours the world. Her presentation is titled "How to make techno kick and bass that looks great on the floor" and will show how she creates the kick and bass sounds in her tracks.
The second presenter is Ableton Certified Trainer Tsuyoshi Okamoto. He is also an arranger, and titled "How to Treat Bass Sounds from an Arranger's View". He will also show how to combine acoustic and electronic sounds and how to monitor low frequencies.
The third presenter is Nobuharu Morimoto, a DJ and YouTube channel "Morimoto Music," who presents tutorial videos on DJing and DAWs. His presentation is titled “My Method for Making Techno Kick” which shows how to create kicks using only Live's built-in devices.

Bass is an important element that forms the groove of a song, but it is also a difficult sound to make because it is hard for the human ear to hear. So our April Meetup will focus on bass sound creation.

Ableton Meetup Tokyo does not require advance registration or reservations. Students are welcome to bring their student ID card to receive half off the entrance fee. We look forward to seeing everyone who is struggling with kick and bass sound creation!
