This edition of HOWRING is centered around the theme of “The Stillness of the Rainy Season,” taking place during this time of year when the sound of rain and the humid air seem to blend into the city.
Alongside artists based in Kansai, we’ll also be welcoming Tokyo-based artist Hybrid Leisureland aka Hidetoshi Koizumi, who has been active in Japan and abroad — particularly across Europe — with his delicate blend of electronica and ambient music.
Together, they will create a moment where ambient/electronica and coffee gently intertwine.
Once again, Osaka Tenmangu’s self-roasted coffee stand, NOWA coffee roastery, will be serving the special HOWRING Blend — crafted to accompany slow listening on rainy days.
Joining us this time as our sweets partner is 折々喫茶 kissa koenomori, a traveling café without a permanent storefront.
They’ll be offering baked treats to enjoy alongside the coffee and music.
