DJ TASAKA
Born in Tokyo in 1974, DJ TASAKA encountered hip hop during middle school and got himself turntables and a mixer. He began performing as a DJ at city clubs from the age of 18, transferring his musical affections to techno along the way. His distinctive style, using scratching techniques gleaned from hip hop to mix disco, minimal and electro with hip hop, was very well received. In 2001 he released his first CD, “LOOPA MIX mixed by DJ TASAKA”, and played at the MAYDAY festival in Germany. In 2002 he released his first album “PASSPORT FOR DISCO”, subsequently working on many remixing and production projects. In 2005 he released a full album of his original tracks, “GO DJ” on the Ki/oon Records label, and toured all over Japan to promote it. He works with hip hop group Alpha on the project Alpha＆DJ TASAKA and forms the unit DISCO TWINS with DJ KAGAMI. IN 2006 DISCO TWINS released an original album, “TWINS DISCO”, featuring Koji Kikkawa, ,Seiji of Guitar Wolf, Utadamaru of Rhymester and Ohya Yusuke of Polaris. IN July 2009 he released “Soul Clap”, his first solo album for four years.

Yasuharu Imai
Yasuharu Imai is a top stylist. Since his days as an assistant he harbored a great love of music, spending his hard-earned wages on amassing a huge collection of vinyl. After striking out on his own as a stylist, he also began writing for music magazines. He currently writes for the magazine remix as well as fashion website Cluster. He was born in 1982 and graduated from Bunka College of Fashion.

DJ YOGURT
As the buyer at Sisco Techno record store for over 15 years since 1993, DJ Yoghurt is loved by core music fans. That experience and knowledge is put to good use in his DJ sets, which he has been doing almost every weekend all over Japan since 2005. While reading the atmosphere of a party, he chooses from his selection of over 10,000 records, various tracks sense is very highly rated. He has participated in over 60 parties, including Flower of Life and RawLife. In 1998 he formed a record label UPSET RED, with music production unit UPSETS. Since then they have been releasing one or two records a year.
