Born in 1987. Rapper/Producer. His father is K.U.D.O MAJOR FORCE and he lived in London up to the age of 12. He moved to Argentina when he was 18, and pursued a career as a professional football player. But under the influence of his father, he found the path of music and returned to Japan. He has played alongside the likes of James Lavelle and Giles Peterson, and recently started a project in conjunction with Mo ‘Wax label stalwarts U.N.K.L.E.

Toshio Nakanishi, aka Tycoon-to$h formed Plastics with Hajime Tachibana in 1977, debuting with “COPY / ROBOT” and following up with “ORIGATO PLASTICO” in 1980 and “WELCOME BACK” in 1981. That year he formed MELON with Chika Sato and others. They released their first album “Do You Like Japan?” in 1982. At the same time he formed another band called WATER MELON GROUP and released arguably the first Japanese hip-hop album “Deep Cut”. In 1987 he formed MAJOR FORCE with Hiroshi Jujiwara, Gota Yashiki, K.U.D.O. and Kan Takagi, releasing records from TINY PANX, THE ORCHIDS, CHAPPIE, ECD, Scha Dara Parr and others. He moved to London in 1992, releasing tracks on Major Force West, Mo'Wax, L'Attitude and Pussyfoot. He worked on various projects including with Andrew Hale (WATER MELON) and Matt Ducasse (SKYLAB). He began a project with Nomiya Maki in 2003 called PLASTIC SEX and began performing as PLASTICS again in 2007.

FRASER COOKE
Fraser Cooke is NIKE’s Global Marketing Director. In the late ‘80s, he was a key figure in the hip hop and funk boom emanating from SOHO’s The Brain. He threw parties with the Gimme 5 crew at Ronnie Scott’s and ran with James Lavelle’s Mo’ Wax crew, which developed strong links with the Tokyo scene. He also runs the Study Masters show on samurai.fm.

The boss of Jazzy Sport, Masaya was born in Portland. He acquired a taste for jazz music from his parents, and in the early ‘90s found points of commonality between that genre and hip hop. From there he began collecting soul, funk, latin, African and Brazilian music. After that he hooked up with Taro “Wassupski” Kesen.
