DJ HASEBE aka OLD NICK
Born in 1971, Hasebe was first exposed to hip hop circa 1988. He moved to Tokyo and started DJing seriously at the tender age of 19. In 1993, he premiered the event “Fat Rat” at Gold, which was the leading club for dance music in Tokyo at the time. The party’s success gave made him instrumental in the dissemination of the hip hop genre in Japan. In 1996 he met Aiko, vocalist for the group Sugar Soul, and they formed a partnership. His highly successful weekly club night with DJ Watari“Honey Dip”was held at Club Harlem since April 1997 and was continued at Space Lab Yellow since January 2001. In 2000, as a sound producer he released his first solo album “HEY WORLD” contributed by hip hop heavyweights like Doug E Fresh, Speech, Mos Def, Rahzel and Jamaican dancehall superstar Beenie Man. He renamed himself as Old Nick in 2002.

With the theme “Fashion + Music + Art + Skate + Lifestyle” free magazine FLJ was launched in 2008 but Ohno. FLJ stands for FILTH, LIBERTINE, JUSTICE, just in case you didn’t know. SENTA (NUMB)
SENTA is the vocalist of NUMB, a new school hardcore punk band that lead the Japanese hardcore scene. He is also the guitarist of ETERNAL B, a New York hardcore-style band that made its debut in 1999 with “catastrophe 1999”, as well as the general manager of online store MERCHDIG and music label IMPAK MUZIK PRODUCTION.

Sayaka is a singer, DJ, photographer, model and party animal. After starting her career as a performer in May 2002, she performed alongside girls’ entertainment unit maneater from 2007 to 2009. From 2008 she has worked as the party and event photographer for FLJ magazine. She also is very talented as a rapper with some very saucy Japanese lyrics. As a DJ she plays R&B, rock, hardcore, electro, house, pop, reggae and drum and bass.
