KAN TAKAGI
Born in Zushi in 1961. He joined punk band FLESH in 1979. He performed in garage band Tokyo Bravo from 81-84. In 84 he was in the Osamu Tezuka movie Stardust Brothers. In 85he was asked by Yan Fujita to rap in support of Seiko Ito. In 1986 he formed unit TINY PUNX with Hiroshi Fujiwara. At the same time he opened a club and it started a DJ boom, which got lots of attention. In 88 he formed label and production company MAJOR FORCE with Toshio Nakanishi, Gota Yashiki, KUDO and Hiroshi Fujiwara. In 91 he released his first solo album “Fruits of Rhythm” on EPIC/SONY, the first of four. Takagi currently works as a DJ and music producer, as well as on projects for MAJOR FORCE PRODUCTIONS, his live improvisational act with UNDERCOVER, producing the albums of Naohito Takenaka, (set for release in June) and PELI (out this spring) and a solo project, which will be revealed soon enough ...

KENSHO OHNUKI
Born in Tokyo in '51, at the age of 20 Kensho Onuki began his career as a music critic, while in college. He was the first person in Japan to write about Queen. He travelled to London to interview punk bands like the Sex Pistols and The Clash and was a key person in the Japanese music industry. He began working as a DJ with a show on NHK's "Wakai Kodama" and in 1979 began broadcasting a show dedicated to the UK charts "Zen-Ei TOP 20", which was the first of its kind. Currently he works as the selector, programmer and personality of Ronnai", which is broadcast nationwide on the JFN network. His legendary party London Night - the first rock DJ event in Japan - began in 1980 at Shinjuku's Tsubaki House but he continues to hold it at various locations. Since 1996 he has also been running the genre-defying DJ event GROOVY ROCK CARAVAN with friends DJ Carribean Dandy, the actor Jun Murakami.

JUN TAKAHASHI (UNDERCOVER)
Jun Takahashi is the designer of fashion brand UNDERCOVER, which he established in 1989. He was a leading figure in the Urahara street fashion movement that had a huge influence on popular culture in Tokyo and beyond. In 2002, he held his first show at the Paris collections. In the doll making he has pursued separately from his work on the runway, whereby he creates myriad versions of a stuffed toy character known as GRACE, he has found a new means of expressing the aesthetics of UNDERCOVER.

TORU TAKEUCHI
Guitarist and musician Tohru Takeuchi was formerly the leader of popular band Checkers. He last played Le Baron de Paris in February last year for an event to benefit victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster. One year on he joined with other 30 members of the JP2HAITI project, like DJ YUTAKA and ZEEBRA, to release a charity song called “hikari”, which aims to raise awareness of the plight of the disaster’s victims and raise money to help them.

HIKARU (BOUNTY HUNTER)
Hikaru is the owner of the store Bounty Hunter, which started out as a toy shop and went on to become one of the brightest shining brands in the Ura-Harajuku firmament. Since he was enrolled at Bunka College of Fashion he participated in the weekly LONDON NITE events held at Shinjuku’s Tsubaki House. It was there that he founded the band Tokyo Sex Pistols with Jun Takahashi of UNDERCOVER. Hikaru took the name Shidoru, in homage to Sid Vicious, while Takahashi resembled Jonny Rotten and so took the name Jonio. The rest is history.

SKE8THING
Sukebo Shinchan = SK8THING = Suketto Shingu = Jonny Precinct = Jonny Lensman = aka8-15 Harry Callaghan = Jonathan・UCRA = Blackman = Jonathan November = SUKESHIN = Shinsuke Nakamura ... is a graphic designer from Tokyo. From the late ‘80s he worked on magazine and book illustration, and he’s presently the graphic designer for A BATHING APE and GOOD ENOUGH.
ZEEBRA
D.O.B. Apr 2, 1971. ZEEBRA is the front man of hip hop mega-group KING GIDDRA, which made its debut in 1995. He is credited with ushering in a new era in Japanese hip hop and is one of the genres foremost proponents. In 2008, his 20th year since beginning rapping, he represented Japan at the ASIAN HIPHOP FESTIVAL in Thailand and released a best-of album titled “The Anthology” which he followed with a one-man live show at the legendary Budokan. He switched labels to Ariora Japan in 2010. On Mar 17 2010 he released the single “Butterfly City Feat. RYO the SKYWALKER, MUMMY-D & DOUBLE”, which was the theme song of PS3 game Yakuza 4. His second single on the new label “Fly Away” was released on Nov 17.
