Nargiz is a DJ currently based in New York City. During her time in Tokyo , she was one of the original founders of a club night called Laguna Bass in 2010, a monthly residency at legendary club Module which focused on bass music. Having returned to New York City, Nargiz can now be found touring or playing one-off guest spots on London's iconic Rinse FM or Radar Radio. Her recent release on #DISMISSU compilation was a highlight this year and an introduction to her sound heavily influenced by middle - eastern drums and maqam melodies interrupted by western pop signifiers.
