Having begun his DJ career after moving to New York in 1991, DJ YUKIJIRUSHI came back to Japan in 1997and for the six years after his return ran monster event DADDY’S HOUSE alongside DJ MASTERKEY at Shibuya’s Harlem. He was among the first DJs to mix reggae into hip hop sets.

The winner of major DJ battle B-BOY PARK for two consecutive years in 2000 and 2001. In 2001 he participated as Japan champion in DMC and I.T.F., the two most prestigious DJ battle events in the world. He plays numerous clubs: besides regular appearances at Shibuya’s Nuts and Yokohama Logos, he has played in over 50 cities across Japan showcasing his deft skills and good selections. He was the DJ for singer AI’s live concerts and participated in her club tour and nationwide tour. In 2005 he released his major debut album "ON MY BLOCK" on Universal Music.
