ONEMAN LIVE "Project" After Party-Special Guest Performance / eyden
SOUND MUSEUM VISION launched EDGE HOUSE as a regular Saturday party this February. EDGE HOUSE which focus on Tech House and House will be bringing over various foreign artists playing at the forefront of the scene to play alongside DJ DARUMA ( PKCZ®) & JOMMY at the main floor. Apart from the main floor, you can enjoy music of various genres such as Bass Music, Hip Hop and Disco.
In recent years, House / Tech House attracts attention, which incorporates elements of EDM / Bass Music. Camelphat, Fisher and Chris Lake have been a big hit, and many Tech House artists have come to play on the main stage of the festival. David Guetta started Jack Back under the name Tech House, and Diplo also changed the style from Bass Music to House.
Not only artists but also labels are changing. While new house labels such as “Sola” by Solardo, “Solotoko” by Sonny Fodera, “Basement Leak” by Shiba San, “Black Book Records” by Chris Lake and “Catch & Release” by Fisher are started, the historic label Dirtybird, Toolroom, Defected and Relief are reviving. In addition, Tchami's label "Confession" that captures the trend of Future House and Bass House is gaining popularity.
In order to introduce these global trends in Japan, EDGE HOUSE has invited Will Clarke, Mercer, Format: B, Leftwing: Kody, Claptone as guests to name a few. The number of heads who loves Tech House 2.0 is growing up very fast!
In addition, we are making an unprecedented effort other than music. Artworks including EDGE HOUSE's logo are done by GUCCIMAZE. He is well known for artworks of Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Fetty Wap and FLYING LOTUS. Stage production is done by KANOYA PROJECT which involved in EDC Japan, FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and SUMMER SONNIC. VJ MANAMI, who is famous for VJ for Ultra Japan and MUTEK. JP. Designer, DJ, model, perfumer / Perfummer Si oux produce a scent. Various members who lead each scene teamed up and make up EDGE HOUSE's world together.
We are coming up with more fun plan in the future, stay tuned!
