My love @officialvirtualriot proposed to me today !  We‘re already a couple since over 8 years ~ so I couldn‘t be happier to finally also make it official and spend all eternity together  I‘m still super excited and a bit at a loss of words ~ I’m just overflowing with happiness right now He asked me at the exclusive Restaurant/Bar @plustokyo in Ginza, which is a quite fancy & lovely district in Tokyo The picture behind us is a real painting of Mount Fuji made by Morio Nakajima. He is a painter who does wall murals for Japanese public bath houses (Sentō) and currently there are only 3 people who are still performing this traditional Japanese craft I absolutely love Japanese bath houses and use to go there so much, so this is also really special to me  I also wanna send out lots of love to you guys ! 私の愛しの Virtual Riot が今日私にプロポーズしてくれた。私たちは付き合ってもう8年以上になるの。こうやって公式に結ばれて、これからずっと一緒に過ごしていくことが凄く嬉しいわ。今も興奮していて言葉が出ないくらいよ。幸せな気持ちで溢れているわ。

プロポーズした場所は、先日、1周年アニバーサリーを迎えた銀座にあるミュージックラウンジ 「Plus Tokyo」。インスタ映えする内装やお洒落な空間で現在話題沸騰中のスポットで、過去には Alison Wonderland（アリソン・ワンダーランド）や Steve Aoki（スティーブ・アオキ）など大御所アーティストも公演を行っている銀座随一のクラブである。

Plus Tokyo の象徴とも言える富士山は、世界でたった1つしかないオリジナル絵画で、銭湯絵師 中島盛夫氏 の作品。富士山の絵を描く銭湯絵師は、今現在日本に2人しかいないといわれている。

ファンであれば既にご存知かとは思うが、Virtual Riot と Johanna は大の日本好きとしても知られている。日本が大好きで、日本でプロポーズし、2人の幸せそうな姿を見てホッコリしたファンも多いのではないだろうか。プロポーズ日はクリスマス当日の12月25日。なんともロマンティックである。
 


Virtual Riot は何度となく日本へ訪れ、自発的にファンとの交流を行っているが、まだ日本での公演は行っていない。ぜひ近い将来、Virtual Riot の日本公演を期待したい。
