In 1990, he moved to the U.S. on his own and began DJing in earnest, influenced by HipHop artists in the early days of the New School. He has since been active as a resident DJ at clubs in Tokyo and as a guest DJ at inner parties at hotels, bars, and cafes. He has a reputation for his wide range of music selection in various genres from Techno to Latin with a focus on HipHop, which is his roots, and a style of play based on his experience in the field cultivated over many years. He also directs and selects music for corporate parties and media releases. He also produces jingles, organizes parties, casts artists, provides PA and sound system planning, and is active in a wide range of other areas. He is a DJ who believes that "there is no genre in music" and advocates a broad and deep "multi-mix" that is distinctly different from an "all mix" approach.
