Purpose. This word has slayed every social media and every online portal cause it's Justin Bieber's new album that has made multiple records.
And Justin finally made it Tokyo after three years for his album Promotion event!

After landing at the airport with his private jet he made a brief visit to Meiji shrine and then headed for his promotion event.

The venue was filled with several media companies all awaiting for Justin.

As the MC gives a short intro and bio of Justin, he makes his appearance on the celeb popular I O Hawk hover board. This half Segway half skateboard has made its appearance on the sorry acoustic version mv as well.

To every question, Justin asked the name of the representative and answered questions very politely and never forgot to say thank you to each and everyone.

Here are all the questions asked!

Greeting: What's up? It's really good be back here after about a year. Nihon daishiki! Aishitemasu!

Have you done anything Japanese so far?

Yeah Ive been enjoying it so far. It's only been a couple of hours since I landed but I guess I ate some noodles. Noddles are japanesey right?

Do you have plans to meet your beliebers in Japan for this event?

Yes. I'll be playing at Music Station tonight so I'll see my beliebers who will be coming to see the show and we also have a meet and greet event afterwards so that should be fun.

You are also praised for being a fashionista. Is there anything you have in mind when coordinating clothes?

I aspire to have my own style and to make that, I have a couple of people I look up to. To name a few there is this guy called Jerry Lorenzo who also works with Kanye and stuff and he has this brand called 'God Of Fire'. I also like 'Off White' so I guess I base my aesthetics on these fashion icons.

You collaborated with Skrillex and Diplo for a track how was that?

Skrillex is genuinely a really nice guy. We have a really good relationship outside of the business as well and he strives to make me be creative and I love how we are open on collaborating the whole time. We really connected when we worked so that was dope.

What was the difficulty in creating lyrics for Purpose?

I guess the hardest part was to find the right sound and lane and direction of talk to make lyrics that fit the sound. At the time I was trying to find myself and once I did, I wanted to portray to the world my 'purpose' and where myself and my mind were headed at.

How do you feel about your album becoming a worldwide hit?

I feel that I am getting the recognition of the success it has had all over the world and it is really satisfying. I put a lot of hard work into this album and am grateful for the response it has given me. Also the fact that the media is talking about my music and not other stuff like me growing up and all that makes me feel happy. It also had me feeling my love for being an artist. I put my heart and soul on the line for this album and it was a really special moment.

Name three artists that influenced you music making.

Well if you heard my album purpose you would know it was definitely influenced by Michael Jackson. I'd say The Beatles as well…. and myself. Basically being new and being creative and doing something in a new way.

Life is worth living. WHen you were making this tell us how you felt.

At the time making this song I was going through a lot. I didn't know what I wasn't doing in life but I figured out a way and I wanted to let people know that sometimes thinking too much isn't the solution. I wanted to translate my feelings to the world and give them a part of me.

How was it shooting the What Do You Mean MV?

That music video was really skate-oriented and I personally love skating so it was a lot of fun to be able to skate on set as well.

What is the one message you wanted to convey through this album?

That I am human. That I have real emotions as well. People sometimes tend to forget that when we are indulged in stardom. I am vulnerable. I figured out that it was okay to go through dark times and stuff and that the best is yet to come in the end of the day. Obviously without preaching too much I wanted to send this message out to the masses. To be real with yourself and open up the door. Since I stepped into this world of fame and blitz when I was really young, people labelled me as my picture being perfect. But I make mistakes as well cause I'm human. All the issues and struggles I chose to share with the workd. And I guess my music and this album became an outlet for positivity. Great question by the way.

Share us your memorable times shooting and recording this album.

I guess I have to say it was when I was in Santorini, Greece. Overlooking the beautiful view in Santorini, making the most special songs of the album was really cool.

This is the recording studio he visited while he was in Santorini to record the album.

How do you choose words for your lyrics?

I just put my emotions on the line. Special songs just come to you naturally. Don't think too hard with creativity. It's a really organic moment. Great question too!

This promotion event definitely showed how much passion Justin had for the album and he even ended with bigger news! Doing a few shows in Japan for next year's world tour! Exciting!
